(Sports Network) - The Toronto Raptors will shoot for their third straight win when they open a short two-game homestand versus the Minnesota Timberwolves this evening at the Air Canada Centre.
Toronto will also host the Indiana Pacers up north and is 17-11 at home this season. It has also won three straight at the Air Canada Centre.
The Raptors recorded their second straight win and fourth in five tries after a 102-98 victory over Indiana on Monday at Conseco Fieldhouse. Chris Bosh scored 24 points and Carlos Delfino came off the bench to drop 23 points in a winning effort.
Bosh also grabbed 10 rebounds and T.J. Ford finished with 16 points and seven assists for Toronto.
Meanwhile, the Timberwolves will open a two-game road trip tonight against Toronto and Cleveland. They are an NBA-worst 2-23 on the road this season and have dropped 19 of the last 20 games away from the Target Center.
The T'Wolves ended a two-game slide with Tuesday's 111-100 triumph over the Utah Jazz in the finale of a five-game homestand. Al Jefferson poured in 22 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the way. Rashad McCants also tallied 22 points in the win. Randy Foye and Ryan Gomes totaled 20 points apiece, as the Timberwolves ended the stand with a 2-3 record.
Wednesday's showdown between Minnesota and Toronto is the second and final meeting of the 2007-08 season. The Raptors posted a 105-82 win on February 10 at the Target Center, as Andrea Bargnani scored 16 points and Jose Calderon had 15 points and 10 assists for Toronto.
Toronto has won seven straight after losing the last three meetings.
Minnesota has dropped three straight and five of its last six on the road in this series.
