Milwaukee Bucks (25-48) at Washington Wizards (38-36), 7 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Washington Wizards are back at home and will take on the Milwaukee Bucks tonight at the Verizon Center.

Washington just went 2-3 on a five-game road trip against Western Conference foes and dropped the last two tests of the swing. In Monday's 129-87 blowout loss to Utah at EnergySolutions Arena, Antawn Jamison scored 22 points and Nick Young netted 18 for the Wizards, who are tied with Toronto for the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Both squads are three games behind Cleveland for the fourth spot.

The Wizards are in search of their fourth straight playoff appearance.

Washington could get a big boost very soon. Multi-talented guard Gilbert Arenas is nearing a return to the court. Arenas last played on November 16, as he has been sidelined because of left knee surgery. The Arizona product was averaging 22.4 points and 5.9 assists in eight games before going down with his injury.

The Wizards will also host the Miami Heat on their current homestand, and are 21-15 in D.C. this season. Washington forward Caron Butler (hamstring) is questionable for Wednesday's game against Milwaukee. Butler did not play against the Jazz.

Milwaukee will try to end an eight-game skid as the visitor on Wednesday, and has lost 15 of its last 16 road games. It owns a 6-30 record away from the Bradley Center this season.

The Bucks put the brakes on a four-game slide with a 119-115 overtime victory at home against the New York Knicks on Tuesday. Michael Redd poured in 36 points, dished out nine assists and grabbed six rebounds to lead the way. Andrew Bogut, who wore a protective mask after undergoing nasal surgery, scored 24 points and pulled down 13 boards in a winning effort.

Milwaukee and Washington are playing the fourth and final matchup of the season on Wednesday. The Wizards are 2-1 in the season series and have won six of the previous eight meetings.

The Bucks have dropped four straight and six of its last seven in D.C.
