(Sports Network) - The Cleveland Cavaliers will open a three-game homestand tonight, when the Chicago Bulls pay a visit to Quicken Loans Arena.
Cleveland will also host Orlando and New Jersey on the homestand, and is 25-11 as the host this season. The Cavaliers, who have won 10 of their last 11 games at home, are unbeaten over their previous two games overall, including Wednesday's 118-114 road victory over the New Orleans Hornets.
LeBron James scored 29 points, while Devin Brown ended with 20 points and eight assists for playoff-bound Cleveland, which sits fourth in the Eastern Conference. Anderson Varejao tallied 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored 16 points and pulled down 12 boards in a winning cause.
Cavs center Ben Wallace (back) missed Wednesday's game, and is questionable versus Chicago. In late February, Cleveland acquired Wallace from the Windy City in a blockbuster deal.
Meanwhile, the Bulls will try to stop a six-game losing streak on the road when they pay a visit to Cleveland. They are 11-26 away from the Windy City this season.
Chicago has dropped three of its last four games overall, including Tuesday's 106-92 setback to the Boston Celtics at the United Center. Tyrus Thomas totaled a season-high 24 points for the Bulls, who sit 5 1/2 games behind the Atlanta Hawks for the final spot in the Eastern Conference. Thomas was playing for Drew Gooden, who was sidelined with an abdominal strain and has missed Chicago's last two games.
Andres Nocioni tallied 19 points in defeat, while Luol Deng had 10 points in a losing cause. In injury news for the Bulls, Gooden and Nocioni are both questionable for Thursday's game against Cleveland.
Thursday's game between Chicago and Cleveland is the third of four matchups this season. The Cavaliers are scheduled to visit the Bulls at the United Center on April 11.
The 2007-08 season series is tied at a game apiece, while Cleveland has won eight of 12 and 10 of the last 15 meetings. Chicago has lost seven of its last eight on the road in this series.
