(Sports Network) - The Washington Wizards are closing in on a fourth-straight playoff berth, and will wrap up a short homestand versus the Miami Heat at the Verizon Center.
Washington has lost three in a row overall, and suffered a 110-109 setback to the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday in the opener of the homestand. Gilbert Arenas made his return to the Wizards after missing the past 66 games following knee surgery.
Arenas had 17 points in his first game since November 16, while Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison each scored 18 points for the Wizards, who are tied with Toronto and Philadelphia for fifth spot in the Eastern Conference standings with seven games to go. Jamison (shoulder) and DeShawn Stevenson (ankle) both went down in the loss to Milwaukee.

In other team news, associate head coach Mike O'Koren took over practice Thursday as head coach Eddie Jordan rested at home with sinus headaches. Jordan is expected to be on the sidelines tonight.
The Wizards are 21-16 in D.C. this season, and can reach the postseason with a win tonight.
Miami is an NBA-worst 13-62 this season and has lost five in a row. In Wednesday's 106-77 setback to the New Orleans Hornets at AmericanAirlines Arena, Chris Quinn tallied 18 points and Blake Ahearn scored 15 points off the bench in defeat.
Daequan Cook scored 12 points and Joel Anthony had 12 rebounds for Miami, losers of 16 of its last 18 games. The Heat will try to snap a six-game slide away from South Beach tonight, and is 6-32 on the road this season. Miami guard Jason Williams (thumb) is questionable and guard Marcus Banks (hamstring) is listed as doubtful.
