Philadelphia 76ers (38-37) at Atlanta Hawks (35-40), 7:30 p.m.

(Sports Network) - The Philadelphia 76ers are on the verge of clinching a playoff berth for the first time since the 2004-05 campaign, as they wrap up a road trip tonight against the Atlanta Hawks in the opener of a home-and-home set at Philips Arena.

Philadelphia will close out a three-game road trip, and is 17-21 away from the Wachovia Center this season. It is 1-1 so far on the current trek and ended a two-game slide after posting a 108-99 victory over New Jersey on Tuesday at the Izod Center.

Andre Miller scored 24 points and dished out 11 assist, while Andre Iguodala added 17 points and 10 assists for the Sixers, who are tied with Washington and Toronto for the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference playoff hunt. Willie Green chipped in 16 points and Samuel Dalembert had 15 points, 13 rebounds and five blocked shots in a winning effort.

Philadelphia can clinch a postseason spot with a win tonight, or if both New Jersey and Indiana lose on Friday.

The Hawks will wrap up a two-game homestand tonight, and own a 25-13 record at Philips Arena this season. They have won six straight as the host and tied a season-high with their fifth consecutive victory overall, including Wednesday's 127-120 overtime win versus the Raptors in the opener of the homestand.

Mike Bibby had 26 points, 12 assists, six rebounds, and buried the game-tying three-pointer with 0.5 seconds left in regulation. Joe Johnson notched 28 points and 11 assists for the Hawks, who grabbed a four-game lead over the Nets and Pacers for the final postseason spot in the East. Josh Smith added 24 points and nine rebounds, while Al Horford tallied 14 points and 12 boards in a winning cause.

The Hawks haven't reached the postseason since the strike-shortened 1998-99 campaign, and need one more victory for the most wins in a season since going 50-32 in 1997-98.

Friday's game between Philadelphia and Atlanta is the third of four meetings in the regular season. The Hawks are 2-0 so far this season and are scheduled to visit the City of Brotherly Love on Saturday, April 5.

Philadelphia has won 13 of 22 and 21 of the last 31 meetings. It has lost three of four and four of its last six trips to Philips Arena, however.
