(Sports Network) - The San Antonio Spurs conclude a two-game road trip when they visit the slumping Portland Trail Blazers today at the Rose Garden.
The Spurs are 1 1/2 games behind the New Orleans Hornets for the top spot in the West and the Southwest Division.
San Antonio can clinch its 11th straight playoff berth with a victory over the Trail Blazers.
On Friday, Mehmet Okur finished with 17 points and 16 rebounds as the Utah Jazz once again proved their home court prowess by holding the San Antonio Spurs to a franchise-low point total during their 90-64 drubbing of the defending NBA Champions at EnergySolutions Arena.
San Antonio matched its lowest point total ever, as the Spurs scored 64 points against Cleveland on March 25, 1997. The Spurs' 26 second half points, however, are a franchise low for a single half, besting the 27 second half points against Milwaukee on March 31, 2001.
Tony Parker ended with 17 points for San Antonio, which had its eight-game winning streak halted. Tim Duncan added 15 points and 10 rebounds, while Manu Ginobili was held to eight points on 2-of-10 shooting from the field in the loss.
The Spurs, who are 20-18 on the road this season, return home to host the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday and the Seattle SuperSonics on Friday at the AT&T Center.
Portland has dropped four in a row, and plays the middle contest of a three- game homestand. On Thursday,Tracy McGrady scored 35 points to lead the Houston Rockets to a 95-86 victory over the Trail Blazers at the Rose Garden.
LaMarcus Aldridge ended with 23 points in the loss to Houston for the Trail Blazers, who are out of playoff contention. Jarrett Jack chipped in 19 points and Travis Outlaw netted 14 in defeat.
The Trail Blazers are 25-12 at home this season. They will host Kobe Bryant and the Lakers on Tuesday in the finale of the homestand.
San Antonio is 2-0 against Portland this season, and has won 11 straight and 18 of the last 19 contests in the series.
The last time the Trail Blazers defeated San Antonio was on January 24, 2005 in Portland.
