(Sports Network) - The Minnesota Timberwolves will resume a three-game road trip tonight, when they pay a visit to the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum.
Minnesota will also visit Detroit, and is 6-33 away from home this season. It ended a seven-game slide on the road in the opener of the trek on Friday at Orlando, as Ryan Gomes hit the game-winning free throws with 2.9 seconds left for a 102-101 victory over the Magic at Amway Arena.
Randy Foye had a game-high 25 points for the Timberwolves, who snapped a six- game skid overall. Rashad McCants ended with 19 points off the bench, while Al Jefferson poured in 18 points to go along with 11 rebounds. Gomes ended with 14 points in the win.
Memphis has alternated wins and losses over its last six games, and recorded a 96-91 victory over the Miami Heat on Friday at AmericanAirlines Arena. Kyle Lowry and Hakim Warrick each scored 17 points to lead Memphis.
Mike Conley and Juan Carlos Navarro both ended with 15 points for the Grizzlies. Rudy Gay added 14 points and Casey Jacobsen 10 in a winning effort.
Memphis guard Mike Miller (back spasms) is doubtful for Saturday.
The Grizzlies are 2-1 against Minnesota this season, and have won four of five and six of the last eight matchups.
Minnesota has dropped two in a row and six of its last seven trips to Memphis.
