(Sports Network) - The New Jersey Nets were just eliminated from playoff contention, and will wrap up a three-game road trip tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center.
New Jersey's 113-85 loss to Toronto on Friday, coupled with Atlanta's win over New York, ended a streak of three straight playoff appearances. Vince Carter scored 21 points to lead the Nets, who suffered their sixth loss in seven games.
Devin Harris had 19 points, six boards and five assists, while Richard Jefferson scored 14 points in defeat.
The Nets have dropped four in a row on the road, and are 12-27 away from the Meadowlands this season.
Milwaukee has lost five in a row, and will open a two-game homestand on Saturday versus New Jersey and Chicago. It is 19-20 at the Bradley Center in 2007-08.
The Bucks just went winless on a two-game road trip, and suffered a 102-86 loss to the Boston Celtics on Friday at TD Banknorth Garden. Michael Redd had 18 points to lead the Bucks, who have lost nine of 11 and 15 of their last 18 games overall.
Andrew Bogut chipped in 14 points, while Desmond Mason and Awvee Storey had 12 apiece in a losing cause. Bucks forward Charlie Villanueva (hamstring) and guard Maurice Williams (abdomen) are questionable for tonight. They both missed Friday's loss at Boston.
New Jersey is 3-0 against Milwaukee this season, and has won eight of nine and nine of the last 12 matchups.
The Nets are 3-1 in their last four contests on the road in this series.
