(Sports Network) - The Boston Celtics will close out a short road trip tonight, when they pay a visit to the New York Knicks at historic Madison Square Garden.

The top-seeded Celtics have won two in a row and nine of their last 10 games, including Saturday's 99-89 victory over the Atlanta Hawks in the opener of the swing at Philips Arena. Sam Cassell scored 15 of his 20 points in the fourth quarter to lead the charge.

Kevin Garnett notched a game-high 24 points for the Celtics, who improved to 30-10 away from Beantown this season. Paul Pierce and Ray Allen both scored 14 points in a winning cause.

Boston will conclude the regular season on April 16 versus New Jersey at TD Banknorth Garden.

New York will try to get back on track when it closes out a three-game homestand on Monday. The Knicks are 1-1 on the homestand and had a three-game winning streak halted following Friday's 116-104 loss to the Hawks.

Jamal Crawford poured in 20 points to lead the Knicks, who own a 15-25 record in the Big Apple this season. Wilson Chandler had 18 points and eight rebounds, while Zach Randolph contributed 17 points and nine boards in defeat.

The Knicks will visit Indiana on Wednesday for their season finale.

Tonight the Celtics will shoot for their first season sweep of the Knicks since the 2002-03 campaign. Boston is 3-0 so far in the 2007-08 series and has won five straight and six of the last seven meetings.

Boston has also has won five in a row and seven of its last eight contests at historic Madison Square Garden.
