(Sports Network) - The Orlando Magic continue their current road trip with a stop at Philadelphia's Wachovia Center, where the Southeast Division leaders will attempt to maintain their recent dominance of the struggling 76ers in tonight's matchup.

The Magic head to the City of Brotherly Love on a major roll, having won 10 of their past 11 games to extend their lead atop the Southeast standings. Orlando's surge has placed it 3 1/2 games in front of second-place Atlanta in the division race, and the team leads Boston by the same margin for the No. 2 overall seed in the Eastern Conference.

Orlando kicked off this three-game trek -- which concludes with a key showdown against the Hawks on Wednesday -- in fine fashion, coming through with a hard- fought 108-102 decision over Miami this past Thursday.

The Magic trailed 100-99 with 3:09 to go in the extra session, but went ahead on a Rashard Lewis jumper followed by a three-point play from Vince Carter. Up 105-102 with less than a minute left, Lewis buried a clutch three-pointer from the corner that essentially sealed the win.

Lewis finished with 24 points and 11 rebounds and Carter poured in a team-high 27 points to help Orlando to its fourth straight road victory.

"That was a great basketball game," said Magic head coach Stan Van Gundy. "I thought our guys played extremely well. Coming out of a game [the previous night], there was a much better fight in us. I was proud of our guys, but we were very fortunate to win."

Miami had two chances to win it at the end of regulation, but the Magic's Dwight Howard rejected a shot attempt from Michael Beasley in the closing seconds and Heat star Dwyane Wade misfired on a jumper at the buzzer.

Orlando will try to keep up its recent ways in tonight's clash with a 76ers squad it has beaten 10 times in its last 11 encounters against, with two of those wins taken place earlier this season. The Magic routed the Sixers by a 126-105 count at the Wachovia Center on March 1, with Philadelphia-area native Jameer Nelson posting 22 points and 10 assists to lead the way.

That triumph was Orlando's third straight and seventh in its last eight games as the visitor in this series.

The Magic figure to be expected to prevail again tonight, considering Philadelphia has lost seven of its last eight contests and is a woeful 2-12 since February 24. The team's latest setback occurred at home on Saturday, when previously-struggling Chicago halted a 10-game losing streak with a 98-84 verdict.

"I think they are doing what we want them to do, but not at the level we want them to do it," said Sixers coach Eddie Jordan of his players. "They work hard. We just haven't done it at that level consistently."

Philadelphia trailed 52-40 at the half and fell behind by as many as 21 points in the third quarter before making a belated comeback attempt to trim the deficit somewhat.

Marreese Speights paced the Sixers with 17 points and 11 boards off the bench, with Samuel Dalembert netting 16 points in a losing cause.

Guard Louis Williams, Philadelphia's second-leading scorer at 14.4 points per game, sat out the second half of Saturday's loss with a recurrence of back spasms and ended with just two points in 12 minutes of action. He is considered questionable for tonight's tilt.
