NBA Game Summary - Toronto at New York

Final Score: Toronto 99 - New York 103

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Jamal Crawford's 43 points, the most by a Knick this season, boosted New York to a 103-99 victory over the Toronto Raptors.

Crawford shot 15-of-29 from the field and Zach Randolph had a big night with 26 points and 15 rebounds for the Knicks, who won for just the third time in their last 13 games. No other Knick scored in double figures, but David Lee contributed eight points and 13 rebounds in the victory, and Nate Robinson hit four clutch free throws over the final 3.5 seconds.

The Knicks won just two nights after losing 124-84 at Philadelphia.

"It was very important to show the pride we're accustomed to showing," Crawford said. "Even when we lose we put up a good fight. Philadelphia is not who we've been."

Chris Bosh had 23 points and eight rebounds for the Raptors, who had a two- game win streak snapped. Anthony Parker and Carlos Delfino each scored 18, while Jamario Moon had 16 and Jose Calderon 15 in the loss.

"Their quickness hurt us when they went to the spread offense," Raptors coach Sam Mitchell said. "We didn't make shots at the key times, we didn't come up with the long rebounds and Jamal Crawford had an unbelievable night."

Randolph's bank shot had New York ahead 92-82 with 6:49 left, but the Knicks nearly wasted the advantage. Delfino's three had Toronto within 94-92 with 3:54 remaining, but Crawford answered with a shot from beyond the arc.

Toronto cut its deficit to a pair three more times, but could never get over the hump. With the Knicks ahead 99-95, Randolph missed two foul shots with 15.6 seconds left. The Raptors failed to take advantage, as Calderon, Bosh and Delfino all missed three-point shots.

However, Parker's putback moved the margin to 99-97 with 4.9 seconds left.

Robinson made two at the charity stripe, but a Bosh jam with 2.2 on the clock had it back to a two-point spread. Robinson then sealed the win with two more free throws.

"The scary thing about Toronto coming back is their three-point shooting," Lee said. "Their a scary team to play against, offensively they're tremendous and they're athletic enough to cause you problems on defense. We had to play our best ball tonight to get a victory."

Toronto scored the final nine points of the opening quarter for a 21-12 lead and had the first four of the second, capped by a Bosh jam. The Raptors were ahead by as many as 14 in the period, but the Knicks surged back and were within 53-52 at the break following a Randolph three.

"At that point in time when we have a team down like that and a little momentum shifting for us, we have to play a little bit harder," Bosh said. "We have to try and extend the lead and do a much better job of that."

Lee's layup at the start of the third gave New York the lead and the Knicks carried an 81-75 lead going into the fourth.
