Washington, DC (Sports Network) - Antawn Jamison scored 22 points, pulled down nine rebounds and dished out five assists to lead the Washington Wizards in a 110-95 victory over the Charlotte Bobcats.

DeShawn Stevenson poured in 20 points for the Wizards, who have triumphed only twice in their last 12 contests. Brendan Haywood ended with 15 points and Andray Blatche had 13.

Jason Richardson totaled 25 points for the Bobcats, who have dropped three in a row and 10 of 11. Emeka Okafor gave 17 points and 13 rebounds, while Jeff McInnis had 12 points.

Charlotte used an 8-2 run to pull within 86-79 with 8:29 left. Richardson accounted for four of the points, Jared Dudley and Nazr Mohammed hit a pair of free throws each in the spurt.

Seven is as close as the Bobcats got, as the Wizards made their lead double, 101-87, after a pair of treys from Stevenson, the last one with just under four minutes to go.

Charlotte failed to close the gap to single digits, as Washington cruised the rest of the way.

"We went out there and played very well tonight," Stevenson said. "We're going to continue to work hard and hopefully get some more wins."

The Wizards held a 28-27 advantage after the first frame, though, the Bobcats led 52-51 at the break.

The third quarter lead see-sawed and the clubs found themselves knotted at 64 after Richardson knocked down a jumper at the six-minute mark.

"We were in it all the way into the third quarter, but they just wanted it more than us," Richardson said. "They played us really tough."

A Jermareo Davidson hook shot pulled the Bobcats within 70-69. However, the Wizards ended the quarter on an 8-2 scoring spree. Jamsion started the run with a layup and a Oleksiy Pecherov dunk closed it out and sent Washington into the final 12 minutes up 78-71.

Back-to-back threes from Pecherov and Roger Mason gave the Wizards an 84-71 cushion just over a minute into the fourth.
