NBA Game Summary - Sacramento at Miami

Final Score: Sacramento 86 - Miami 107

Miami, FL (Sports Network) - Shawn Marion scored 24 points and pulled down eight rebounds to lead the struggling Miami Heat in a 107-86 rout of the Sacramento Kings at American Airlines Arena.

Udonis Haslem added 17 points for the Heat, who snapped an 11-game losing streak. Dwyane Wade tallied 15 points and nine assists, while Mark Blount ended with 14 points and nine boards. Ricky Davis and Earl Barron gave 11 points apiece.

Jason Williams had 10 points and nine assists in the win.

Spencer Hawes scored 16 points off the bench for the Kings, who have lost two in a row and five of their last eight contests. Kevin Martin and Ron Artest had 14 points each. Mikki Moore grabbed nine boards to go with his eight points.

Wade couldn't put the finishing touches on a three-point play with 3.3 seconds left, and the Heat were left with a 32-30 deficit after the first frame.

Miami opened a 58-52 cushion by halftime, though.

The Heat stretched to an 83-56 lead after a Wade three-point play closed out a 17-0 Miami run with just under three minutes left in the third.

The Kings opened the third shooting 0-for-14 from the field and were outscored 31-11 in the stanza. Miami took an 89-63 advantage into the final 12 minutes of play.

Salmons, Martin and Hawes each had a bucket to help the Kings score the first six points of the fourth to pull within 20, 89-69, not two minutes into the quarter.

However, Miami responded with a 9-2 run. Marcus Banks capped the spurt with a three-pointer at the 6:26 mark to put the Heat up 98-71.

"Obviously, it was pleasing to be able to see that game," Miami head coach Pat Riley said. "I know we have had it in us. I don't know where it has been, but tonight we played extremely well. We played a complete game for 48 minutes."

The Kings never pulled closer than 17 points the rest of the way and the Heat cruised to an easy victory.

"That probably is the worst we have played all year," Kings head coach Reggie Theus said. "Guys were not focused on what they are trying to do. They didn't prioritize the game."
