Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Chris Bosh scored 28 points as the Toronto Raptors beat the Minnesota Timberwolves, 107-85, at Air Canada Centre.

T.J. Ford added 16 points and Andrea Bargnani 12 for the Raptors, who have won three straight and five of six. Jamario Moon donated 11 points and Jason Kapono 10 for Toronto.

Al Jefferson scored 23 points and Rashad McCants added 19 for the Timberwolves, who have dropped eight of 10.

Randy Foye had Minnesota cooking early. The second-year guard out of Villanova made three three-pointers and a jumper as the Timberwolves opened up a 17-7 lead with 6:03 left in the opening quarter.

"In the first quarter we played together and we moved the ball really well," said Foye. "We stopped doing that and that's when Toronto took advantage of the turnovers and steals."

Toronto worked its way back into the game and a Bosh dunk with 2:43 pulled the Raptors within 21-20 with 2:43 left in the first quarter.

With 22 seconds left in the first, Ford gave Toronto its first lead, 26-25, with a fadeaway jumper. McCants' three-point play with two seconds left in the frame gave Minnesota a 28-26 edge after the opening 12 minutes.

The Raptors opened and closed the second quarter with six-point runs and led 51-43 at the half.

Toronto pulled away early in the third. Bosh's driving layup sparked a 10-3 run. His floater with 7:43 left in the quarter gave Toronto a 61-46 lead. The Raptors continued to distance themselves and led 84-65 heading into the fourth quarter.

Minnesota never threatened in the final frame.

"Early in the game we were not making shots we normally make so we had to take them inside," said Bosh. "We got a couple layups, got the crowd into it, got the fast break going and built some momentum for ourselves on defense."
