Atlanta, GA (Sports Network) - Marvin Williams posted 21 points and eight rebounds and was backed by a 20-point effort from Jamal Crawford, as the Hawks downed the Philadelphia 76ers, 112-93.
Joe Johnson scored 18 points to go with five assists, and Al Horford ended with 12 points and eight boards for Atlanta, which has won three straight and five of six overall.
Lou Williams netted a game-high 30 points on 11-of-15 shooting but it wasn't enough to halt the Sixers' three-game slide.
"All the points I scored don't mean a lot because we lost," Lou Williams said
Willie Green chipped in 17 points off the bench in the loss. Andre Iguodala contributed 11 points and seven assists but had six of Philly's 18 turnovers.
Josh Smith finished off a 12-2 run in the opening quarter with a three-point play and layup, the latter giving the Hawks a 21-12 lead.
The margin heading into the second was 32-22, the same differential the hosts took into halftime, 61-51.
Atlanta extended the lead in the third, which ended with Crawford making a late three-pointer for a healthy 87-68 cushion.
Philly was as close as 94-83 with five minutes left, and Atlanta scored the next nine points, capped by a another Crawford three to put the game away.
"They weren't going to stop playing. They continued to play hard," Crawford said of the Sixers. "We had our hands full tonight."
