NBA Game Summary - Philadelphia at Toronto

Final Score: Philadelphia 114 - Toronto 101

Toronto, ON (Sports Network) - Thaddeus Young scored a career-high 32 points and Jrue Holiday had 21 points, seven rebounds and six assists, as the Philadelphia 76ers snapped a five-game losing streak with a 114-101 win over the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre.

Andre Iguodala ended with a double-double, scoring 16 points and dishing out 10 assists, while Elton Brand had 12 points and nine boards for the 76ers, who won for only the third time in their last 11 games overall. Lou Williams finished with 12 points.

"My jumper was really going good," Young said. "My teammates put me in positions to do well. As a team, we just wanted to come out aggressively and get the lead and maintain the lead throughout the game."

Jarrett Jack had a team-high 20 points to go along with nine assists for Toronto, which was coming off a 102-96 win over the New York Knicks on Friday. The Raptors, who shot 51.2 percent from the floor, have dropped six of seven.

Chris Bosh returned to the lineup after missing the previous six games because of a balky ankle and flu-like symptoms, and finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

"I felt good, but anytime you are absent for any length of time, it's tough to get your legs back," Bosh said. "The main thing is I'm happy to be back playing."

Philadelphia built a 13-point lead with 4:24 left in the first quarter, but the Raptors were able to pull even at 24-24 after the opening 12 minutes.

In a back-and-forth second period, the 76ers closed out the half on a 7-0 run. Holiday hit a three-pointer and made a layup sandwiched around Young's driving layup to give Philly a 55-47 advantage heading into the locker room.

The 76ers played the front-runner in the third quarter and never relinquished the lead. Bosh's dunk cut the Raptors' deficit to four, 64-60, with 6:37 remaining before Young's layup a short time later put Philadelphia in front by double-digits, 72-62. Williams made a pair of free throws in the final second to make it an 89-75 game after three quarters.

Jose Calderon's trey with 4:12 remaining in the game got the Raptors to within six, 100-94, but the 76ers answered by scoring nine straight points to put the game away.
