Final Score: Philadelphia 101 - Milwaukee 86
Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Jrue Holiday had 15 points and seven assists and one of the coldest teams in the league upended one of the hottest, as the Philadelphia 76ers overwhelmed the Milwaukee Bucks, 101-86, at the Bradley Center.
The Sixers had lost 13 of 15 coming into the game and were facing a Bucks team that won 15 of 17 since the All-Star break. Milwaukee had also won eight straight at home but watched the visitors shoot 52.6 percent from the floor in the surprising result.
Willie Green and Andre Iguodala netted 16 and 14 points, respectively, while Samuel Dalembert contributed 12 points and 10 rebounds in the win.
Jerry Stackhouse posted a team-high 15 points for Milwaukee, which still holds a 2 1/2-game lead over Miami for the fifth seed in the Eastern Conference. The Bucks and Heat play at the Bradley Center on Friday.
John Salmons, the catalyst during Milwaukee's recent stretch, hit just 2-of-12 from the field for four points in defeat.
Brandon Jennings scored 12 points and opened the game with a three, though the Sixers answered with 11 straight, eight coming from Jason Kapono.
Stackhouse ended the first-quarter scoring with two free throws and a dunk to cut Milwaukee's deficit to 28-23.
Philly extended a four-point lead with a nine-point run in the second, as Jason Smith's bucket yielded a 52-39 cushion with 2:51 to play before halftime, which ended with the visitors on top, 58-45.
Midway through the third, Dalembert scored six straight points on the inside in a little over a minute, the latter a dunk that put Philadelphia in front, 71-54, with five minutes left in the frame.
Milwaukee, which defeated playoff-bound Atlanta and Northwest Division-leading Denver in its previous two tilts, trailed 81-63 with a quarter to play and never made it a single-digit game in the final 12 minutes.
"They were hitting shots tonight," Jennings said. "They shot over 50 percent from the field tonight, what can you say? When a team is on fire like that, you just have to try to get stops. They executed well tonight and they got it done."
