NBA Game Summary - Boston at Chicago

Final Score: Boston 80 - Chicago 89

Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Carlos Boozer scored 23 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and dished out five assists, and the Chicago Bulls utilized a late run to take down Boston Celtics, 89-80, at United Center.

Luol Deng and Joakim Noah also had double-doubles for the Bulls, with Deng producing 23 points and 10 assists while Noah dropped 15 points and pulled down 16 boards. C.J. Watson added 11 for Chicago, which has won two straight and seven of eight.

"We do a good job of passing to each other out there every night," said Boozer. "Everyone chips in here and it's been a lot of fun this season."

Bulls point guard Derrick Rose missed his fourth straight game due to a back injury.

Kevin Garnett had 18 points and 10 rebounds and Rajon Rondo contributed 17 points for the Celtics, who lost their second game in as many nights.

After two lead changes and a tie early in the final frame, Ray Allen hit a jump shot with 8:42 to play that tied the game once more, this time at 69. Chicago would answer in force, however, unleashing a 12-0 outburst fueled by layups by Taj Gibson, Deng, Boozer, and Boozer again, with a Deng three- pointer thrown in for good measure.

The Celtics never mustered enough offense to overcome the Bulls' spurt.

"We tied it at 69 and then let up some on offense," said Boston head coach Doc Rivers.

Chicago was up 11 at halftime, but Boston slowly chipped away at that lead in the third. Noah's jumper gave the Bulls a 16-point advantage with 9:14 in the quarter, but Boston scored 22 of the period's final 29 points, including eight unanswered to conclude the quarter, and Chicago's lead was just 60-59 to open the fourth.

Rondo scored eight points and Boston held Chicago to 31.6 percent shooting from the field in the first quarter en route to a 24-18 advantage after one. The Bulls responded by holding the Celtics to just 20 percent shooting in the second, and Noah scored 10 in the quarter as Chicago developed a 44-35 edge at the half.
