Krzyzewski to stay at Duke

Mike Krzyzewski made it clear at his annual summer meeting with reporters that he has no desire to leave Duke and take over the reins of the Los Angeles Lakers.

Krzyzewski said he is "not going to the Lakers'' and that he won't leave Duke "until I leave coaching.'' Speculation has been rampant that Coach K is Kobe Bryant's choice to take over the head coaching spot if Phil Jackson steps down. Krzyzewski guided the US men's basketball team to the gold medal at the Bejing Olympics which included Kobe.
