SDSU suspends forward Wade

San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - San Diego State University suspended senior forward Lorrenzo Wade indefinitely for violations of team policy, head coach Steve Fisher announced Wednesday.

Wade, who averaged a team-best 14.8 points last season, has not participated in any team activities the past two weeks. He won't practice or participate in team workouts.

The San Diego Union Tribune reports Wade was suspended because he faces felony burglary charges stemming from an incident Sept. 21. Wade pleaded not guilty on Tuesday in the reported attempted theft of a television from a woman's apartment in the college area.

"We will continue to monitor the situation and will withhold final judgment until all of the facts are gathered," Fisher said.
