Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"We are pleased to announce that Bruiser Flint has signed an extension to stay at Drexel, Drexel athletics director Eric Zillmer said. "Bruiser has done an outstanding job of making Drexel one of the top programs in the CAA over the last 11 years. We look forward to him continuing to lead the Dragons in the years to come."

Flint guided Drexel to a school-record 29 victories in 2011-12, which included a 19-game winning streak. The Dragons, who finished first in the Colonial Athletic Conference with a 16-2 mark, lost to second-seeded VCU in the CAA Tournament title game.

Despite being left out of the NCAA Tournament, Drexel received a bid to the National Invitation Tournament, but lost to UMass in the quarterfinals.

Flint is third in career victories at Drexel with 199. Only Eddie Burke (205) and Sam Cozen (213) won more.
