With the recent success, Florida has improved to 15-5 overall and 4-2 in conference. On Wednesday, the Gators played well at the offensive end in an 87-71 victory over Georgia.

As for Tennessee, it has suffered back-to-back losses after losing just two of its first 17 games. The Vols, who are 15-4 overall and 3-2 in SEC action, fell to Vanderbilt on Wednesday by an 85-76 final in front of a disappointed Knoxville crowd.

There are five double- digit scorers on the UF roster, and Kenny Boynton leads the way with 15.0 ppg despite the fact that he is shooting only 38.5 percent from the floor. Rounding out the group is Vernon Macklin, who is scoring an even 10.0 ppg. In the victory over Georgia on Wednesday, Florida shot 53.3 percent from the field and knocked down 16-of-20 free throws. The team finished with 20 assists and only 10 turnovers, and Tyus scored 23 points in 30 minutes of action. Boynton and Walker finished with 21 points apiece in that triumph.

Wayne Chism is the team's only other double-digit scorer, as he brings 11.6 ppg and 6.9 rpg to the fold. The Vols are generating 78.7 ppg, and they are limiting foes to 65.2 ppg on 39.3 percent field goal efficiency. J.P. Prince was sensational in defeat against Vanderbilt on Wednesday, as he connected on 9-of-10 field goal attempts en route to 22 points. Hopson pitched in 14 points, and Bobby Maze contributed 12 points and seven assists. Chism pulled down 16 rebounds, but he was limited to eight points on 2-of-9 shooting from the floor.
