The Red Wolves scored 77 points in their last matchup, but the team suffered a heartbreaking, last-second loss to Arkansas-Little Rock. Arkansas State only shot 39.4 percent from the field in the matchup and that included a mere 6- of-21 showing from long range. Martavius Adams led the way in the loss with a double-double of 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Brandon Reed also added 17 points. Rashad Allison helped out with 14 points, eight rebounds and five assists, while JeJuan Brown tallied 12 points. Reed and Adams have been the top two players for ASU this season, as Reed is pacing the team with 15.3 ppg, while Adams is netting 11.1 ppg, to go along with 7.0 rpg.

The Privateers were ineffective the last time they were on the floor, as the team scored just 51 points in a loss to South Alabama. New Orleans shot just 38.3 percent from the floor, and finished 9-of-23 from behind the arc. Devin McDonald led the way in the loss with 14 points, while Carl Blair added 10 points and six assists. The team's leading scorer, Charles Carmouche (12.7 ppg), finished with just nine points in the contest. Carmouche is the only player averaging double figures for New Orleans, which is netting just 59.5 ppg on the season.

The Red Wolves are coming off a heartbreaking loss, but look for them to rebound this evening on the road against a weak New Orleans squad.
