The Crimson could do no wrong Friday, as the team grabbed a three-point overtime win against Yale. Harvard, which shot 44.8 percent from the floor in the contest, finished 10-of-23 from long range and 20-of-27 from the foul line. Kyle Casey led the way with 20 points and seven rebounds, while Jeremy Lin tallied 18 points. Brandyn Curry and Christian Webster posted 15 and 12 points, respectively. Lin has been one of the most feared players in the conference and comes into this game leading Harvard with 17.3 ppg, 4.5 apg, and 59 steals. Harvard as a whole has been solid offensively, averaging 74.2 ppg, behind a 47.8 percent shooting effort.
The Bears only shot 38.6 percent the last time they were on the floor, but the they still grabbed a 15-point victory over Dartmouth. A big reason for the team's victory was its success at the foul line, as Brown connected on 33- of-37 attempts from the charity stripe. Peter Sullivan led the way with 23 points and 11 rebounds, while Matt Mullery also tallied a double-double, finishing with 17 points and 10 boards. Garrett Leffelman and Tucker Halpern contributed 14 and 10 points, respectively. Despite the strong showing, the Bears have been nothing special offensively, as the team is netting just 66.2 ppg. Mullery is pacing the team with 15.3 ppg and 6.2 rpg, while Peter Sullivan is contributing 11.6 ppg.
The Bears are coming off a strong showing against Dartmouth, but against Harvard, Brown may struggle. Look for the Crimson to grab a hard-fought win on the road.
