Columbia (9-13) at Dartmouth (4-18)

GAME NOTES: For the 198th time, Columbia and Dartmouth will collide on the hardwood when the Big Green host the Lions this evening in an Ivy League bout at Leede Arena.

Earlier this season the Lions pushed their lead in the all-time series against Dartmouth to 103-94 with a 63-51 victory at home. Since the opening of the Leede Arena, the Big Green have posted just a 14-8 mark against Columbia.

The last time the Lions were on the floor the team pushed its conference mark to 3-5 on the year with a 66-62 victory over Penn. The win snapped a two-game slide for Columbia, which is just 3-8 on the road this season.

As for the Big Green, they are winless in Ivy play, losing all eight of their matchup against league foes. Dartmouth comes into this matchup with a seven- game slide and that includes a 69-56 setback to Yale.

The Lions have been tamed at the offensive end of the court this season, and they head into this matchup averaging just 62.0 ppg, behind a pedestrian 41.6 percent shooting effort. Noruwa Agho is the only player netting double figures, as the guard is posting 17.0 ppg. Agho has been sensational from behind the arc, connecting on 49.5 percent of his three-point attempts. The last time the Lions were on the floor the team only scored 66 points, but that was enough for Columbia to slip past Penn. The Lions shot 48.0 percent from the field and also made 9-of-16 attempts from behind the arc in the victory. Niko Scott led the way with 29 points, while Asense Ampim added 12 points. As for Agho, he finished with just five points after shooting 2-of-10 from the field, but the guard did grab a team-high 11 rebounds.

Unfortunately for the Big Green, they have been dreadful at the offensive end of the floor and head into this game netting just 53.7 ppg. There is not one player averaging double figures, as Ronnie Dixon is pacing the team with just 8.4 ppg. Dartmouth's offensive woes continued in its recent setback to Yale, as the Big Green scored just 56 points. The Big Green shot a meager 33.8 percent from the floor in the contest and finished just 3-of-13 from behind the arc. David Rufful and Dixon led the way with 15 points apiece, while Robby Pride added 11 points in the loss.

Dartmouth has clearly struggled throughout the season and even though the team is home, look for the Lions to earn another league win.
