Oral Roberts (16-12) at Austin Peay (16-12)

GAME NOTES: Two teams searching for a third straight win will meet at the Dunn Center tonight, as the Austin Peay Governors play host to the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles in a BracketBusters event.

Oral Roberts picked up its second consecutive victory with a 76-56 win over Centenary on Tuesday. That game marked the Golden Eagles' final regular-season home contest, as they will play their final three games on the road. Following tonight's tilt, they'll play at Southern Utah on Thursday and at UMKC next Saturday to close out their Summit League schedule.

As for the Governors, they are coming off a 77-72 victory over Ohio Valley Conference foe Tennessee Tech on Thursday night. This will be their final home game of the season, as they'll wrap up their schedule with road games at Eastern Illinois and Southeast Missouri State next week. Austin Peay has been tough to beat at home this year, posting an 11-2 mark thus far.

Austin Peay holds a slim 2-1 series edge over Oral Roberts, although these teams have not met since the 1977-78 season.

Tuesday night's victory was career win No. 200 for ORU head coach Scott Sutton. His Golden Eagles had little trouble disposing of Centenary, as they shot a blistering 60.7 percent from the field in the first half and led, 45-28 at the half. Kevin Ford racked up a game-high 21 points, while Warren Niles added 17 points and Dominique Morrison finished with 16. ORU also forced 20 turnovers in the win. Four players are averaging double figures on the season, led by Morrison, who has started every game and is tallying 15.3 points and 5.3 rebounds per tilt. Morrison is an 84 percent shooter at the foul line, and he gets there often (115-of-137). Niles is next in line with 12.5 ppg, while Michael Craion (12.4 ppg, 6.9 rpg) and Ford (11.7 ppg, 7.5 rpg) provide some punch in the low post.

Austin Peay is led by the tandem of Wes Channels and Anthony Campbell. Channels leads the team with 16.4 ppg, while Campbell (5.6 rpg) is putting up 15.9 ppg. The two have combined to knock down 115 three-pointers and are shooting a collective 40.8 percent from the perimeter. John Fraley mans the paint, and he is averaging 9.1 points and a team-best 7.7 rebounds per outing. Against Tennessee Tech earlier this week, Campbell sent the game to overtime by hitting a three-pointer with 27 seconds remaining in regulation. In the extra session, the Governors held Tech to 2-of-9 shooting from the floor. The Govs shot just 38.9 percent from the floor in the victory, but they did connect on 11-of-24 threes (.458). Channels scored a team-high 24 points, while Campbell added 23, and Fraley finished with seven points and 11 boards.

These teams are very evenly matched, right down to their identical 16-12 records. That said, give a slight edge to the Govs playing at home.
