San Francisco (11-15) at Santa Clara (11-17)

GAME NOTES: The Santa Clara Broncos wrap up their home slate tonight, as they collide with the San Francisco Dons in West Coast Conference action at the Leavey Center.

The Broncos haven't had much success this season, not even at home, where they team has gone just 6-11. SCU though, has won two of its past three outings, including a 62-54 besting of Pepperdine a week ago. The Broncos, who are still just 3-8 in league action, will play at Gonzaga and the University of Portland to wrap up its regular-season campaign.

The Dons meanwhile, are beginning a regular-season ending three-game road trip tonight. USF appears to be peaking at the right time as well, winning two straight and four of its last five contests. The recent run, which includes a 75-66 win over Loyola Marymount a week ago, has pushed the team to 6-5 within the conference.

As for the all-time series, SCU holds a 108-96 advantage over USF and that includes a 66-65 win in the first meeting of the season.

USF has two players currently averaging in double figures, as Dior Lowhorn and Kwame Vaughn lead the way for the Dons. Lowhorn is one of the top scorers in the league at 18.5 ppg and he also grabs a team-best 6.6 rpg, while Vaughn pitches in with 12.8 ppg and 4.0 rpg. In the team's last game, Lowhorn poured in 26 points and pulled down seven caroms to lift the Dons past Loyola Marymount. Vaughn chipped in with nine points for USF, which shot 50.0 percent from the floor and went 22-of-30 at the foul line.

The Broncos are in the same boat, as they depend on two double-figure scorers to carry the offensive burden. Marc Trasolini is the team's top scorer (14.0 ppg) as well as rebounder (6.4 rpg), while Robert Smith checks in with 12.8 ppg and a squad-high 3.0 apg. In the team's prior outing, Trasolini posted 16 points and eight rebounds to pace SCU in a victory over Pepperdine. Smith added 12 points and two assists, as the Broncos held Pepperdine to a dismal 30.6 percent shooting from the field.

This is the last home game of the season for the Broncos, so expect them to come out with a lot of energy and defeat the Dons tonight.
