Wofford (20-8) at Georgia Southern (7-20)

GAME NOTES: The Wofford Terriers will be looking to extend a winning streak when they tangle with the Georgia Southern Eagles in a Southern Conference test in Statesboro.

Wofford comes into the weekend with a 20-8 mark. At 12-3 in the SoCon's South Division, the Terriers come into the weekend just a half-game behind division- leading College of Charleston, and even in the loss column. Wofford picked up its seventh straight win Wednesday night, a 73-51 decision at Davidson. The Terriers are an impressive 9-6 on the road this season, where they've won three straight. This marks their final road game of the regular season.

Georgia Southern was a 79-77 winner over Furman on Wednesday night. The loss snapped the Eagles' four-game losing streak. They now stand at 7-20 overall and 4-10 in conference play. All seven of the Eagles' wins have come at home where they're 7-5.

Wofford bested the Eagles 71-57 in their first meeting on January 14th. Georgia Southern still holds a 22-16 advantage in the series.

Noah Dahlman scored 19 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead Wofford to the win Wednesday evening. Jamie Diggs added 10 points. The Terriers were up 38-22 at halftime after holding Davidson to just 20.8 percent shooting from the floor in the first half. Dahlman leads the ballclub in scoring at 17.1 ppg, good for fourth in the conference. He's the only Wofford player scoring in double figures. Dahlman is shooting 58.4 percent from the floor, but just 67.1 percent from the foul line. Tim Johnson is leading the team in rebounding at 7.5 boards per game, good for fifth in the conference. Brad Loesing is 10th in the Southern Conference in assists at 3.1 apg. Diggs is handing out 2.5 assists per contest. The Terriers are shooting 43.8 percent from the floor as a team, but just 66.5 percent from the foul line. They're allowing 61.3 ppg defensively.

Willie Powers scored 21 points to lift the Eagles over Furman on Wednesday. Ben Drayton netted 15 points for Georgia Southern (7-20, 4-10 SoCon). Rory Spencer added 13 points for the Eagles, who got 11 points from Antonio Hanson. Powers leads the ballclub in scoring at 15.0 ppg, good for seventh in the SoCon. He's shooting 44.3 percent from the floor and 79.5 percent from the charity stripe. He's also leading the conference at 5.0 apg. Hanson is averaging 11.8 points per contest despite shooting just 38.5 percent from the floor. The Eagles have gone through the season without a dominant rebounder. Johntavius Rucker leads the team at a pedestrian 4.5 rpg. Georgia Southern is shooting 42.4 percent from the floor, but just 67.6 percent from the foul line. The Eagles are scoring 69.0 ppg, but are allowing 78.5 defensively.

Wofford will keep up its winning ways and extend its winning streak with a solid win over the Eagles.
