GAME NOTES: Conference-USA action will take place this evening when the UCF Knights host the UAB Blazers at UCF Arena.

The Blazers pushed their league mark to 9-3 on the season with a 75-66 victory over Houston in their last contest. It was the third win in the last four games for UAB, which is an impressive 8-3 on the road this season.

As for the Knights, they are coming off a 68-58 loss to Southern Mississippi. The setback snapped the team's two-game winning streak and left UCF with a 5-7 mark in conference action.

The Blazers have won all four of the matchups against UCF in the all-time series.

The last time out, the Blazers shot 50.0 percent from the floor en route to a victory over Houston. UAB connected on 20-of-32 attempts from the foul line in the win and was paced by Elijah Millsap, who posted a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds. Howard Crawford added 20 points in the win. Millsap has been the top player on the floor for UAB, pacing the team with 16.1 ppg and 9.4 rpg. Crawford comes into this matchup with 12.7 ppg, while Jamarr Sanders is posting 11.1 ppg. As a whole the Blazers are averaging 69.1 ppg.

The Knights shot 52.9 percent from the floor in their last matchup, but finished with just 58 points in a loss to Southern Mississippi. Isaac Sosa led the way in the loss with 14 points, while A.J. Tyler and Marcus Jordan posted 13 and 12 points, respectively. Tyler is currently leading the team with 10.3 ppg and is pulling down 5.0 rpg, while Sosa is posting 10.1 ppg. Keith Clanton is only netting 9.2 ppg, but the big man is pacing the team with 6.3 rpg. As a whole, the Knights are shooting a respectable 44.2 percent from the floor, but that has led to just 65.9 ppg on the year.

The Knights have never beaten UAB and even though UCF is a home, look for the Blazers to continue their success in this series.
