DePaul (8-19) at Rutgers (14-14)

GAME NOTES: The Rutgers Scarlet Knights and DePaul Blue Demons meet for the second time in less then two weeks, as the Big East foes clash today at the RAC.

These two clubs just met on February 16th, with the Knights scoring a 68-64 victory. With the win, the Knights improved to 3-2 all-time versus DePaul.

Rutgers however, has suffered two straight losses following that victory over the Demons. The most recent of those setbacks came on Tuesday, a 76-70 defeat at Seton Hall.

The Demons on the other hand, have fallen in nine straight outings, including a 74-69 setback at Cincinnati on Wednesday. DePaul is now a dismal 1-14 within the conference and 0-10 in true road games.

DePaul was dominated on the boards, 47-31, including 19-10 on the offensive glass, as it suffered a 74-69 defeat at Cincinnati on Wednesday. Rebounding was crucial considering the Demons shot only 40.6 percent from the field. Will Walker guided the team in the loss with 24 points, while Mac Koshwal had a double-double of 19 points and 12 rebounds. For the season, Walker heads DePaul in the scoring department at 16.6 ppg and he also has 39 steals to his name. Koshwal is a force down low and one of the few players in the conference averaging a double-double with 15.4 ppg and a team-high 10.1 rpg.

The Knights connected on just 38.2 percent of their field goals and only 5- of-22 attempts from downtown, as they were outlasted by Seton Hall during the week. Rutgers also coughed up the ball 16 times compared to just six turnovers by Seton Hall. Mike Rosario scored 17 points in the defeat, while Dane Miller posted 16 points and nine rebounds. For the season, Rosario is the team's leading scorer at 16.2 ppg, although he is shooting a less than impressive 37.5 percent from the floor. Jonathan Mitchell turns in 11.6 ppg and 5.8 rpg for Rutgers, while Hamady Ndiaye leads the team with 7.2 rpg and 4.6 blocks per game.

Rutgers already defeated DePaul once this season and should be able to complete the season sweep on its home floor today.
