GAME NOTES: Looking to finish with a share of the regular season title in the Sun Belt Conference, the Troy Trojans will close out their schedule on the road against the Arkansas State Red Wolves this evening at the Convocation Center.

The Trojans are currently 12-5 in conference and tied for first place in the East Division with Middle Tennessee. Troy has won seven of its last eight games, including four in a row, and the last time the team was on the court the Trojans defeated Arkansas-Little Rock, 76-73.

As for the Red Wolves, they are currently second in the West Division with an 11-6 ledger. The last time ASU was in action the team snapped a two-game skid with a 63-56 decision over New Orleans.

With respect to the all-time series, the Trojans have won four of the five meetings.

The Trojans continued their strong play on Thursday when they defeated Arkansas-Little Rock by three points. Troy shot 48.3 percent from the floor, and that included an 11-of-28 clip from behind the arc. Richard Delk led the way with 16 points, while Brandon Hazzard and Antywan Jones tallied 15 points apiece. Michael Vogler posted 12 points, four assists and four steals in the win. Hazzard and Delk are leading the team with 16.5 and 12.7 ppg, respectively, while Vogler is contributing 12.0 ppg, to go along with 158 assists. Yamene Coleman has been solid in the paint for the Trojans, netting 10.5 ppg, to go along with 8.0 rpg.

The Red Wolves only scored 63 points in their last contest, but that was enough for them to grab a victory over New Orleans. ASU shot 54.5 percent from the floor in the matchup and was paced by Brandon Reed's 18 points. Martavius Adams added 13 points and six boards in the win. Reed and Adams have been the top two players on the floor for Arkansas State, as Reed is posting 15.3 ppg, while Adams is netting 11.3 ppg, to go along with a team-best 7.3 rpg. As a whole the team has been mediocre at best, producing 69.6 ppg, behind a respectable 45.3 percent shooting effort.

Troy might be on the road, but this is a very important game for the Trojans Look for them to use their outstanding play offensively to earn a share of the Sun Belt Conference title.
