Charleston, SC (Sports Network) - Malcolm Grant finished with 18 points to lead Miami-Florida to a 67-60 victory over UNC-Wilmington in the semifinal round of the Charleston Classic.

James Dews added 17 points, shooting 8-of-10 from the field, as Miami (4-0) stayed undefeated this season. The Hurricanes beat Tulane on Thursday in an opening-round contest.

Cyrus McGowan and Dwayne Collins each scored nine points in the win, as Miami made 50 percent of its shots from the floor, but also committed 21 turnovers and sank just 50 percent of its free throws (12-for-24).

Chad Tomko had 16 points to pace the Seahawks (1-3), who defeated Penn State in the opening round. John Fields added 15 points in the setback. UNC- Wilmington made 38.2 percent of its shots.

The Seahawks used a 14-2 run in the first half to take a double-digit lead. Ahmad Grant began it with a three, while Dominique Lacy capped it with two foul shots to make it a 22-8 game with just over six minutes to play.

But Miami scored the next eight points to cut into its deficit, then ended the half with a 10-0 burst.

Grant started it with a layup and three, and McGowan's layup in the final seconds gave the Hurricanes a 27-26 edge at the break.

The game was back-and-forth in the opening portions of the second half, but just past the midway point Miami rattled off eight consecutive points. Dews capped the rally with a jumper to give the Hurricanes a 51-41 lead with eight minutes left.

Tomko's three with under three minutes to go got UNCW within 57-51, but Durant Scott hit two free throws and Dews drained another jumper, and the Hurricanes held on for the win from there.
