Bowling Green, OH (Sports Network) - Scott Thomas scored 14 points and grabbed six rebounds as he helped lead the Bowling Green Falcons to a 58-47 win over the Toledo Rockets in a Mid-American Conference battle at Anderson Arena.

Also scoring in double figures for the Falcons (11-9, 4-4 MAC) were Dee Brown and Erik Marschall with 12 points apiece and Otis Polk with 10 as the team won for the second time in the last three outings.

The Rockets (3-19, 0-8) were paced by Justin Anyijong who dropped in a game- high 18 points on 4-of-5 shooting behind the three-point line as the team fell for the 12th time in as many games.

BGSU knocked down a sizzling 61.1 percent from the field in the first half, yet the team led by just six points at the break, 26-20.

In the second half the Falcons continued to shoot the ball well from the floor at a 52.4 percent clip, allowing them to capture the 11-point home win.

Toledo, which never led in the contest, made just 3-of-6 shot at the free- throw line in the meeting.
