Winston-Salem, NC (Sports Network) - C.J. Harris scored 12 points to help his Wake Forest Demon Deacons knock off the Miami-Florida Hurricanes, 62-53, in ACC action.

Ishmael Smith posted 11 points, nine rebounds and six assists for Wake Forest (15-5, 5-3 ACC).

Garrius Adams netted 13 points in the setback for Miami (16-6, 2-6), which received 10 points from James Dews.

Wake Forest led 36-27 at intermission after holding Miami to 27.6 percent shooting from the floor in the first half.

The Hurricanes struggled offensively again in the second half, connecting on just 32 percent of their field goal attempts over the final 20 minutes.

The Demons Deacons forced 18 turnovers in the clash and earned a 21-15 edge in points from the foul line.
