Newark, DE (Sports Network) - Matt Janning scored 17 points to power the Northeastern Huskies to a 67-51 victory over the Delaware Blue Hens in a Colonial Athletic Association clash.

Chaisson Allen tallied 15 points for Northeastern (15-8, 10-2 CAA), which has won 13 of its last 14 games. The Huskies also got 10 points from Manny Adako and 12 rebounds from Nkem Ojougboh.

Jawan Carter poured in a game-high 30 points in the setback for Delaware (6-17, 2-10).

Northeastern scored the first eight points of the game and led 32-21 at intermission.

Another 8-0 run in the second half enabled the Huskies to seal the victory, and they took their largest lead of the game at 21 points.

Northeastern shot 53.3 percent from the floor in the contest and held Delaware to 30 percent shooting.
