Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Will Martell posted 16 points and eight rebounds to lead the Rhode Island Rams to a 90-83 victory over the La Salle Explorers in an Atlantic 10 Conference matchup.

Lamonte Ulmer posted 14 points for Rhode Island (18-3, 6-2 A-10), which received 13 points and six assists from Marquis Jones.

Rodney Green racked up 22 points, 12 rebounds and five assists in defeat for La Salle (11-11, 3-5), which got 18 points from Aaric Murray and 16 points from Parrish Grant.

Rhode Island led 53-41 at intermission after shooting 52.4 percent from the floor in the first half, including 8-of-16 from three-point range.

Over the final 20 minutes, the Rams knocked down 10-of-12 free throws to seal the victory.

Rhode Island finished the game with only nine turnovers while forcing 19 giveaways.
