Athens, GA (Sports Network) - Courtney Fortson poured in a game-high 27 points to lead the Arkansas Razorbacks to a 72-68 victory over the Georgia Bulldogs in SEC action at Stegeman Coliseum.

Mike Washington added 15 points and grabbed eight rebounds in the win for Arkansas (11-11, 4-3 SEC), while Marshawn Powell notched 11 points to go with nine boards.

Trey Thompkins scored 21 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead the way for Georgia (9-11, 1-6), while Travis Leslie added 14 points in the losing effort. Dustin Ware and Jeremy Price chipped in 11 points apiece as well for the Bulldogs.

The Razorbacks were held to just 34.6 percent from the field during the opening period of play, enabling Georgia to take a 37-22 lead into the break.

In the second half, however, the Razorbacks righted the ship and buried 64.0 percent of their attempts from the floor to earn a four-point win.

In addition to 17 turnovers, the Bulldogs lost the battle of the boards by a 31-28 margin.
