Spartansburg, SC (Sports Network) - Jamar Diggs posted a game-high 19 points to lead the Wofford Terriers to a 72-56 victory over the Elon Phoenix in a Southern Conference tussle at Benjamin Johnson Arena.

Noah Dahlman added 16 points and collected eight rebounds in the win for Wofford (16-8, 8-3 SoCon), while Tim Johnson hauled in a game-high 14 boards.

Adam Constantine scored 17 points to lead the way for Elon (4-17, 2-8), while T.J. Douglas and Terrance Birdette added 11 and 10 points, respectively.

A 50.0 percent shooting effort from the floor gave Wofford an edge in an otherwise competitive offensive opening frame for each clubs, and the Terriers took a 36-25 lead into the break.

In the second half, the Phoenix hit an impressive 52.4 percent of their attempts from the floor, but the big first half deficit and a 13-for-17 performance from the foul line by Wofford proved too big an obstacle for the squad to overcome.

The Phoenix were guilty of a game-high 17 turnovers in the loss.
