Joe Dukes added 10 points and passed out 10 assists in the win for Georgia State (10-14, 4-8 CAA).

Ryan Pearson scored 13 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the way for George Mason (15-8, 10-2), while Luke Hancock checked in with 10 points off the bench in a losing effort.

The Patriots held Georgia State to a mere 29.6 percent from the floor during the first period of play, and took a 27-22 lead into the break.
