Amherst, MA (Sports Network) - Jordan Crawford poured in a game-high 25 points to lead the Xavier Musketeers to an 87-79 victory over the Massachusetts Minutemen in an Atlantic 10 Conference tussle at the Mullins Center.

Terrell Holloway added 16 points to go with six rebounds and five assists in the win for Xavier (16-6, 8-1 A-10), while Jason Love tallied 15 points. Jamel McLean got into the mix as well, finishing with a double-double of 14 points and 11 boards for the Musketeers.

Ricky Harris scored 24 points to lead the way for Massachusetts (8-14, 2-6), while Javorn Farrell notched 12 points. Terrell Vinson registered 11 points, while Freddie Riley chipped in 10 points in a losing effort.

The Musketeers shot at a blazing 64.5 percent clip from the floor during the opening period of play to open a 50-33 halftime lead.

Xavier never looked back in the second half, hitting 52.2 percent of its attempts from the field to earn an eight-point win.

The Minutemen shot a lackluster 42.9 percent from the floor in the loss, including a mere 7-of-32 from long range.
