Little Rock, AR (Sports Network) - Alex Garcia-Mendoza hit a shot from half court as time expired as the Arkansas-Little Rock Trojans stunned the Arkansas State Red Wolves, 79-77, in a Sun Belt Conference joust.

Solomon Bozeman scored 20 points for the Trojans (7-15, 3-8 Sun Belt), and he also added seven assists. Garcia finished with 14 points, Matt Mouzy added 12 points and Kelson Stewart tallied 10 points.

Brandon Reed and Martavius Adams scored 17 points each for Arkansas State (13-9, 8-3). Rashad Allison finished with 14 points and JeJuan Brown added 12 points. Adams grabbed 12 rebounds, while Reed and Allison had five assists each.

Arkansas State led 44-36 at halftime after shooting 43.6 percent from the floor in the first half. The Red Wolves led by as many as 13 points in the opening 20 minutes.

Arkansas State still led 76-71 with 1:08 left in regulation before Arkansas- Little Rock rallied for the win. Garcia-Mendoza scored eight points in the final 48 seconds of regulation to lead his team down the stretch.

The Trojans prevailed despite being outrebounded, 44-31.
