Muncie, IN (Sports Network) - Randy Davis scored a game-high 18 points to lead the Ball State Cardinals to a 64-59 win over the Bowling Green Falcons in Mid- American Conference action at Worthen Arena.

Terrence Watson added 14 points and nine rebounds for the Cardinals (12-9, 6-3 MAC), while Jarrod Jones chipped in with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Jauwan Scaife also got involved, netting 10 points in the win.

Bowling Green (11-10, 4-5) was paced by Joe Jakubowski and Dee Brown, who scored 13 points apiece in a losing effort. Scott Thomas added 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Falcons.

Ball State took control of the contest in the first half, shooting 42.9 percent from the floor to take a 27-24 lead at the break.

The Cardinals put the game away in the second stanza, knocking down 11-of-15 free throw attempts en route to a five-point victory.

Free throw shooting proved to be the difference in this contest, as the Cardinals outscored the Falcons 18-9 from the charity stripe.
