Charleston, SC (Sports Network) - Tony White posted 19 points, leading five players in double figures, as the Charleston Cougars delivered an 86-74 win over the Chattanooga Mocs in Southern Conference action at Carolina First Center.

Andrew Goudelock and Matt Sundberg registered 17 points apiece for the Cougars (15-8, 10-2 SoCon) as they won their second straight. Also scoring in double figures were Donavan Monroe and Jeremy Simmons with 10 points apiece, the latter also clearing a team-best nine rebounds in the outing as well.

The Mocs (13-11, 4-6) were paced by DeAntre Jefferson with 13 points and seven rebounds in 21 minutes off the bench, followed by Ricky Taylor with 12 points, Ty Patterson 11 and Ridge McKeither 10 points before fouling out.

Chattanooga scored the first four points of the evening, but it wasn't long before the Cougars put together an 11-0 run to move out to a 26-15 advantage and eventually grab a 43-24 lead at the break.

In the second half the lead reached as high as 29 points at 59-30 with 16 minutes remaining, and while the Mocs showed some heart by refusing to give up, the visitors still ended up bowing by 12 points in the end.

Chattanooga finished the night shooting a mere 23.8 percent from behind the three-point line and suffered with just 9-of-18 accuracy at the free-throw line.
