Morehead, KY (Sports Network) - Maze Stallworth scored a game-high 26 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Morehead State Eagles to a 94-75 win over the Jacksonville State Gamecocks in an Ohio Valley Conference showdown at Johnson Arena.

Demonte Harper also added 18 points for the Eagles (16-7, 10-2 OVC), while Kenneth Faried chipped in with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Steve Peterson also got involved, netting 10 points in the win.

Nick Murphy paced JSU (10-12, 6-6) with 22 points and 12 rebounds, while Jeremy Bynum added 15 points in a losing effort. Dominique Shellman and Trenton Marshall also added 14 and 10 points, respectively.

Morehead State took control of the contest in the first half, shooting 52.9 percent from the floor to take a 16-point lead at the break.

The Eagles put the game away in the second stanza, knocking down 5-of-12 three-point attempts en route to a 19-point victory.

Three-point shooting proved to be the difference in this contest, as Morehead State outscored the Gamecocks 39-24 from long distance.
