Stockton, CA (Sports Network) - Orlando Johnson scored 28 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos to a 61-48 victory over the Pacific Tigers in a Big West Conference tussle at the Spanos Center.

James Nunnally added 19 points for UC Santa Barbara (12-8, 7-3 BigWest).

Allen Huddleston was the only player in double figures for Pacific (14-7, 7-2), finishing the game with 10 points.

The Gauchos jumped out to a 14-2 lead to start the game and went into the break with a 34-22 advantage.

UC Santa Barbara shot 46.7 percent from the field in the second stanza, and went on to win by a 13-point margin.

UCSB was solid defensively, holding Pacific to just 29.4 percent shooting from the floor, and 22.2 percent from behind the arc.
