Fayetteville, AR (Sports Network) - Courtney Fortson scored a game-high 24 points to go along with 10 rebounds, as the Arkansas Razorbacks claimed an 82-79 overtime victory over the Auburn Tigers in SEC play at Bud Walton Arena.

Marshawn Powell scored 19 points for the Razorbacks (12-11, 5-3 SEC), winners of four straight. Rotnei Clarke added 12 points, while Stef Welsh chipped in with 11 off the bench.

Frankie Sullivan and Tay Waller had 18 points apiece to pace Auburn (11-12, 2-6). Lucas Hargrove scored 15 in the loss, and DeWayne Reed finished with 13.

Auburn knocked down 6-of-16 three-pointers in the first half to grab a slim 38-36 lead at the break.

Both teams shot 42 percent from the floor in the second stanza. Fortson's difficult layup with 14.1 seconds remaining gave Arkansas a 67-65 lead, but Auburn's Andre Malone forced overtime on a put back with 1.6 seconds to play.

Fortson scored eight of his 24 points in the extra session, including a free throw with 4.2 seconds on the clock to give Arkansas a three-point lead. Sullivan got a good look at a potential game-tying trey on the other end, but his shot was just off the mark.

Arkansas shot 5-of-6 from the floor in overtime, in addition to hitting 4-of-6 free throws to seal the win.
