Stockton, CA (Sports Network) - Demetrece Young scored 18 points and dished out six assists to lead the Pacific Tigers to a 67-61 victory over the Cal Poly Mustangs in a Big West Conference tussle at the Spanos Center.

Terrell Smith added 10 points and nine rebounds for Pacific (15-7, 8-2 BWC), while Sam Willard contributed nine points and eight rebounds.

Shawn Lewis posted 16 points for Cal Poly (8-14, 5-5), while Lorenzo Keeler tallied 13 points, to go along with eight rebounds and five assists. David Hanson chipped in with 10 points in the losing effort.

Pacific went into the intermission with a 37-32 lead after holding Cal Poly to a meager 34.4 percent shooting effort from the field in the first half.

In the second stanza the Tigers shot 47.4 percent from the floor, en route to the six-point win.

Pacific made 16-of-23 attempts from the foul line in the matchup, while Cal Poly made all three of its shots from the charity stripe.
