Chicago, IL (Sports Network) - Jared Cunningham netted 15 points off the bench to help his Cleveland State Vikings knock off the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers, 59-56, in Horizon League play.

Trevon Harmon scored 14 points in the win for Cleveland State (12-12, 8-4 HL). Jeremy Montgomery had 12 points for the Vikings, and Norris Cole pitched in 11 points.

Ben Averkamp and Terrance Hill both had 12 points for Loyola-Chicago (13-10, 4-9). Walt Gibler contributed 11 points, and Courtney Stanley added 10 points.

Cleveland State knocked down six three-pointers in the first half and led 30-29 at intermission.

Over the final 20 minutes, the Vikings made good on only 33.3 percent of their field goal attempts, but 15 points from the foul line in that second half enabled the club to hold on for the victory.

Cleveland State committed just seven turnovers, six fewer than Loyola.
