Denver, CO (Sports Network) - Nate Rohnert's 25 points and eight rebounds propelled the hot-shooting Denver Pioneers to a 73-63 Sun Belt Conference win over the Florida Atlantic Owls.

Chase Hallam scored 11 points for the Pioneers (14-9, 7-5 SBC), who came in having lost two straight and four of their last five. Kyle Lewis added 10 points.

Raymond Taylor netted 20 points for the Owls (12-12, 8-5), who have lost their last two. Alex Tucker added 13 points and Brett Royster had 11.

Denver led 37-29 at the break, going 13-of-19 from the floor in the first half. The Pioneers were 7-of-9 from three-point range as well.

Denver stayed hot after halftime, hitting 9-of-17 attempts from the floor and 3-of-5 from long distance for the 10-point triumph.

The Pioneers were also effective at the foul line, where they went 19-of-27 on the night.
