Things continued to stay close in the second half and after Stommes converted the go-ahead layup with 21 seconds left, EKU survived a game-winning three- point attempt by Bynum in the closing moments.
Both teams shot 46.0 percent from the floor on the night, but EKU went 6-of-17 from long range compared to just 3-of-14 showing by JSU.
